The first-ever Multiculturalism in Medicine showcase will take place on September 27th, 2024, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine (Foothills Medical Centre).

The event aims to celebrate multiculturalism in the many forms that it takes. As Calgary becomes increasingly diverse, it becomes more important for future healthcare professionals to learn about the communities’ different cultures and ethnicities. The event not only celebrates these rich cultures but also fosters a greater understanding of the unique perspectives on healthcare with the medical community.

All interested members of the Anjoman are welcome to attend. Attendees and volunteers will be invited to wear their traditional clothes and will be free to share their cultures, traditions, and foods throughout the evening.
